Organizationally, Tribal Employment Services are made up of four main areas:
Human Resources provides Compensation and Benefits information to all Tribal employees, and serves as support services to implement and enforce organizational Policies and Procedures.
Tribal Employment Rights Office (TERO)
Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance or Office monitors and enforces tribally enacted Indian Preference law: employment, training, contracting, and other businesses.
Comp & Benefits
The Compensation & Benefits department administers benefits for eligible tribal and tribal enterprise employees.
WIOA Job Training
Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) offers two programs, the Comprehensive Services Program for adults and the Supplemental Youth Services Program for youth. WIOA services include employment and training services and support to obtain employment; short term paid work experience; support services to obtain/retain employment, enter into higher education or enlist in the military, and skills upgrading.
