About Tribal Court

The Court makes reasoned decisions, interpreting and applying laws enacted by the Tribal Council. And, like the Tribal Council, the Court works to strengthen the Tribes through support and services for Tribal members and families, holding members accountable for their actions and promoting self-sufficiency and cultural values.

The Tribal Court serves an essential governmental function, seeking always to protect the Tribes’ sovereignty and to effectuate the Treaty and Constitution.

Credit/debit card payments? Credit/debit cards payments can be made through the online system. The following is needed to process:

  • Citation number or case number is required to process traffic citation payment.
  • Fee payment system accepts Mastercard and Visa credit cards as well as debit cards.
  • Payments are processed and recorded within 3-5 working days.
  • $5.00 processing fee will be assessed on each transaction to cover the costs of processing the online fee payment.
  • Currently, the system can process 1 payment at a time. Multiple Tribal Court payments require individual transactions.

Can I make monthly payments? No, payment is due in full as ordered on the court order.

Who decides what the fine or bail will be for my case? Fines and bail amounts are determined by the presiding judge in the case.

Is there a search function to look up my citation number or fee? At this time, the system does not offer a search function for looking up citation numbers or fees. If you need this information, please contact the Tribal Court directly at: 541-553-3278.

The Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs has established an online payment system that allows you to make payments on most citations and Tribal Court fees.
