As Director of Managed Care, Mike Collins is responsible for administering all aspects of the Managed Care Program including coordinating the clinical aspects of the program. He networks closely with providers of healthcare to ensure the Tribal membership and Managed Care eligible persons get the necessary healthcare needed. Mr. Collins also networks with Indian Health Services and the Oregon Health Authority to ensure that best practices and policies are administered and coordinated. He prioritizes competing health care needs and ensures that needed care is provided in a timely and proficient manner.

Mr. Collins started his career with the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs over 19 years ago working at the Warm Springs Health and Wellness Center as a Budget Analyst for the Joint Venture Project. He has served the Tribes’ Finance branch as the Accounts Payable Supervisor, Enterprise Accountant, Governmental Controller and most recently he has served as the Tribes’ Director of Finance from 2010 through 2015.  He is very pleased to be back at the Warm Springs Health and Wellness Center where he began his career all those years ago.

Mr. Collins devotes his time away from the office to his family and with community events which focus on youth on the reservation.
