“As of 4:30p on 6/8/2020 – Warm Springs Health and Wellness Center has sent in or tested 699 Total Tests, 625 Total Negative, 25 Test Pending, 46 Positive Cases, 3 Hospitalized, 1 Discharged 3 Total Invalid and 26 have recovered. Note – the STATE lab is taking 24-48 hours for results. Our testing capability currently stands at 403 STATE and 476 ABBOTT test kits. We continue to do random surveillance testing of our high- risk community members. We will begin a broader surveillance of the CTWS employees, as staff begin to return to work in the coming weeks.” H. Dauphinais, Sr. from CoVID-19 Update

The Warm Springs Confederated Tribes reopened business with caution, a 25 percent return of staff, which are our younger employees with lower health risks and offices redesigned to have CoVID safety measures in place. Similar to the areas around the reservation higher numbers are tied to several factors, including more widespread testing, increased contact tracing and active monitoring of close contacts of cases. The reopening of counties surrounding the reservation leads to more travel by all and the change of infection increases. Please keep practicing social distancing, wear masks, avoid crowds, wash hands often and plan trips to minimize the chance of bringing home the Corona Virus-19.
