We have begun a broader surveillance of the CTWS employees.” Hyllis Dauphinais, Sr., CEO Warm Springs Health and Wellness Center

The Warm Springs community should congratulate itself, with support from Tribal Council, Indian Health Services, CTWS’ Health Branch and CoVID-19 Response team we’ve battled with Corona Virus-19 for three months. The health team responds quickly to determine course of actions if symptoms point to the virus.

The other services available at “The clinic” are still offered. The need for emergency dental services was highlighted in Tribal Council; due to the Corona virus it makes dental work difficult to do safely. It has been a challenge to provide services due to the danger of Corona Virus-19, as people to people contact has to be done safely. Childhood immunizations are being done; we ask for parent’s patience and understanding with extra precautions-getting your children immunized with safety for child, parents and providers. Let the nurses know at the entry way about your health situation, they’ll assist you to access services.

Patience and courtesy is a challenge in these times. Managed Care’s General Manger, Michael Collins: “Managed Care is open for services to the community with referrals being processed for all priorities.  Although our office area is not accessible to the community you may drop off your bills with the front gate and they will bring them to us.
