“As of 4:45p on 6/22/2020 – Warm Springs Health and Wellness Center has sent in or tested 899 Total Tests, 832 Total Negative, 9 Test Pending, 55 Total Positive Cases, 3 Total Invalid, 4 Hospitalized, 2 Discharged, 42 Recovered. Note – the STATE lab is taking 24-48 hours for results Our testing capability currently stands at 307 STATE and 325 ABBOTT test kits. We continue to do random surveillance testing of our high-risk community members. The Warm Springs Tribal Council meet with the CoVID-19 Response team with concerns if the Corona Virus- 19 is starting to infect Warm Springs’ young people. Tribal Council asked how many Warm Springs youth test positive? (Report being compiled). Status report on isolation, quarantine and recoveries in the above report. A letter of concern was approved to State of Oregon Governor Kate Brown about State policy to protect general public health by strengthening enforcement to keep infected individuals in isolation. Tribal Council also approved a resolution to add Corona Virus-19 to our legal documents to protect Warm Springs community while assuring due process to protect individual rights.
