Carlos R Calica “Sitwala”

Carlos is of the Tyxhpum, Wasqupum, and Newe, the three tribes of the
Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs.
He is the Collection Supervisor for the Warm Springs Tribal Credit Enterprise, an employee of 27 years. Carlos is a member of the Nchi Wana Housing Board, serving many communities in cultural preservation and various Tribal events, and ceremonies.
Carlos is the father of three children and has two grandchildren. He is a fourth-generation Councilperson, following in the footsteps of his great grandfather atwai Alec Tohet, grandmother atwai Bernice Mitchell, father atwai Charles Calica, as well Uncles and great Uncles.

He is a follower and spiritual servant to the Washut, Waskliki, and Medicine
Society; carrying forward our ways and identity. Serving our community as well as
other tribes and communities as a MC or other various duties and consultation.
