The Tribal Community Health Staff continue work on contact tracing for those who tested positive for COVID-19 following the Oregon Health Authority investigating guidelines. All individuals are fully cooperating with instructions given to them, as report by Katie Russell, Community Health Service Manager, CTWS. Tribal Council recently met to monitor COVID-19 Health team’s data and reports and plan to meet dependent on the COVID-19 situation and other tribal governance issues. The COVID-19 Health teams strongly urges tribal and community members to continue necessary practices related to keeping the virus’ impact on our community at a minimum.
The Health professionals on the Warm Springs Reservation continue to develop team structure, acquire resources including testing supplies for COVID-19, protect front line health workers, Warm Springs Community and our tribal membership.
