The Warm Springs Tribal Council and CoVID-19 Response team: Ask you to…..”Please continue to speak to family, friends and colleagues about the importance of face coverings, social distancing and hand hygiene. Talk to family about refraining from gatherings, especial with non-immediate family who live outside of your immediate household. Be Safe!

The State of Oregon Legislature is in 2nd Special Session. Police bills, serious budget work and rumor has it that more water infrastructure funding may be available for Warm Springs Tribes water infrastructure crisis. The physical placement of pipes under the Shitike Creek has been completed, testing of the pipe with water gives hope that the water can safely be delivered to the Warm Springs Agency area. The earliest estimated time that project would be tested and cleared is this Thursday, August 13, 2020. The Agency area is where most of Warm Springs residents live; also the boil water notice could be lifted, dependent on water quality tests.

A serious reminder that if you are positive with the Corona Virus-19, the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs tribal government expects you to be responsible and isolate yourself……if not Ordinance 101 will allow detention of those that do not comply with ordered isolation/quarantine.

The Boil Water Notice is still in effect for Warm Springs Agency area. For more information contact: The
