NARRATIVE:

Yesterday helicopter bucket drops were used this morning and into the early afternoon putting water on hot spots within and along the fire perimeter. Fire crews continued to work on securing containment lines.

Today, fire crews will focus on mopping up heavy fuel concentrations along the south side of the Warm Springs River. Mop up operations will continue on the rest of the fire.

Demobilization of assigned crews/resources will continue today.

At 1500hrs the fire will transition from a Type III IC to a Type IV IC.

This will be the last Fire Update for the Rattlesnake Fire. At 0900hrs the Fire Information phone number will be deactivated.
