“As of 5:00pm on 7/31/2020 – Warm Springs Health and Wellness Center has sent in or tested 2005 Total Tests, 1772 Total Negative, 41 Test Pending, 181 Total Positive Cases, 11 Total Invalid, 17 Hospitalized, 13 Discharged, 3 deaths and 115 Recovered. Note – the STATE lab is taking 24–48 hours for results and our maximum daily capacity for Rapid tests is 20-22. Our test kit inventory currently stands at 333 STATE and 443 ABBOTT (Rapid) test kits. We continue to do random surveillance testing of our high-risk community members, our healthcare and first responder staff, and we continue to conduct broader surveillance of the CTWS employees, as the community has reopened.” Hyllis D. The Warm Springs CoVID Response team met with Tribal Council today to make recommendations about the Corona Virus-19 situation on the Warm Springs Indian Reservation. Formal announcement will be coming out next week as current closure ends Monday, August 3rd, 2020 at midnight. Ordinance 101 Contagious and Infectious Disease Detainment will be in effect, for those individuals that do not comply with formal health instructions to ISOLATE or QUARANTINE. The Ordinance is to protect the lives of the Warm Springs community.

The Boil Water Notice is still in effect for Warm Springs Agency area. For more information contact: The Branch of Public Utilities, Water and Wastewater division at (541)553-3246. Conservation of water is critical as repairs will take time; please continue to conserve water. The water available for the Agency community is still low. Construction is scheduled to begin within the next two weeks, be forewarned that water will have to be shut off for a day, two days at the most for repairs. The Shut Off days will be announced so we can prepare with storage of water at home.
