“As of 8:45 am, 12/29/2020 – Warm Springs Health ness Center has sent in or tested 6532 Total Tests, 6012 Total Negative, 0 Test Pending, 593 Total Positive Cases, 27 Total Invalid, 69 Hospitalized, 59 Discharged, 15 Deaths, 74 Positive test from other facilities, 667 Total. 12/28 – a total of 71 tested, 5 new positive, 5 total positives for the week., 63 Rapid, 2 positive, 8 BinaxNow, 1 positive; 0 State, 0 positive returned from State, 2 positive reported by Other Healthcare Facility, 10 Current Hospitalization, 1 on ventilator, 1 new COVID 19 deaths; There are currently 31 persons with active COVID-19 receiving daily monitoring by Tribal and IHS staff and 76 close contacts receiving daily monitoring by IHS staff. Flu Vaccine numbers – Community at 22.5%.

Yesterday, we completed the first two hundred doses of the vaccine and will begin dispensing our 2nd shipment of 200 doses in the coming days. Healthcare workers who have not yet received their initial dose, please contact Dr. Locker or Amy Whisler if you decide to receive the vaccine. As a reminder, it is important that we protect ourselves, but also giving consideration to protecting our community and loved ones. By receiving the vaccine you are helping to protect the community. I encourage you all to learn more about the Moderna vaccine, as well as other (FLU) vaccinations in general.
