“As of 10:01am, 8/24/2020 – Warm Springs Health and Wellness Center has sent in or tested 2578 Total Tests, 2308 Total Negative, 43 Tests Pending, 253 Total Positive Cases (43 Positive test from other facilities), 19 Total Invalid, 32 Hospitalized, 28 Discharged and 6 Deaths. There are currently 34 persons with active COVID-19 receiving daily monitoring by Tribal and IHS staff and 51 close contacts receiving daily monitoring by IHS staff. Tribal Council wants all to know not all of Tribal Council has been ordered to quarantine and to remind all members to know Ordinance 101, quarantine/isolation detention if person does not comply with health professionals instructions is a LAW. Ordinance 101 is the law, so follow instructions when ordered to quarantine and/or isolate.

Three major fires on reservation so please be alert to news broadcasts about your area; please follow orders if told to evacuate. Families need to continue to know whereabouts of all family members. Do not add to the traffic problem by traveling to the fire area. Summer heat, fire, increased weekend traffic and COVID-19 require focus on safety. Enjoy your summer safely.
