The COVID-19 Pandemic is still with us, and now complicated by fires and smoke. The Oregon Health Authority says: “The first priority in wildfire situations is responding to the evacuation and safety instructions of local and state fire officials. Regardless of disease status, if you are asked or ordered to evacuate, you should do so. If you or a household member are quarantining or isolating to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and you need to evacuates……be sure to bring emergency food and water, emergency medicine supply, power sources for medical devices and flashlights, face covering and hand sanitizer, important documents.” We add closing windows in your car if traveling, recirculate and use Tripcheck to figure the safest route out to safety. If home: stay inside, close windows, use air cleaner(s), avoid strenuous work outside and count your blessings.

Keep Masking up, social distancing, avoid gatherings of any size and not your household, avoid hot spots and be careful when near fire incidents.

STAY HOME, STAY SAFE
