“As of 8:35 am, 12/11/2020 – Warm Springs Health ness Center has sent in or tested 5968 Total Tests, 5409 Total Negative, 0 Test Pending, 532 Total Positive Cases, 27 Total Invalid, 59 Hospitalized, 54 Discharged 10 Deaths, 70 Positive test from other facilities, 602 Total. 12/10 – a total of 48 tested, 9 new positive, 61 total positives for the week., 37 Rapid, 8 positive, 11 BinaxNow, 1 positive; 0 State, 0 positive returned from State, 0 positive reported by Other Healthcare Facility, 6 Current Hospitalization, 2 on ventilator, 0 new COVID related deaths; There are currently 84 persons with active COVID-19 receiving daily monitoring by Tribal and IHS staff and 158 close contacts receiving daily monitoring by IHS staff. “In response to the increasing spike of coronavirus cases, Warm Springs Tribal Council, approved by a vote of 5 to 2 with 1 abstaining these COVID-19 Response Team recommendations:

Tribal Government Offices will be Shut Down December 10 – December 27, 2020.

Essential Services will continue to be provided to the Community.

Warm Springs Residents are asked to stay home except for essential activities like grocery shopping, going to work, attending medical appointments, or picking up medicine.

There is a CURFEW in effect daily from 10 pm – 6 am. Everyone should be at home between those hours. Note: Traveling to and from work is an essential activity.

And anyone violating quarantine or isolation requirements are subject to citation per Ordinance 101 that Tribal Council Approved earlier this year to protect community members from COVID-19.

Community members who are isolating or quarantined due to COVID-19 can have a food box delivered since you are not able to go grocery shopping. If you have questions, you can contact Warm Springs Emergency Management at 541-553-3345. They also have Personal Protective Equipment.
