Please keep up the COVID-19 safety practices: wear masks, social distance ( if swimming-still keep 6 foot distance from others), wash hands often or use hand sanitizer, avoid gatherings, if quarantined or isolated follow health professionals instructions. Be careful if in a smoky area, the air quality of Central Oregon will get worse as smoke travels into your area. If smoky-stay inside, use air cleaners, close windows and no strenuous work during smoky and hot times of the day. The Lionshead fire is about 35 percent contained with more hot weather and winds forecasted. The potential for fire is throughout the Central Oregon area is high, so be careful and have fun.

Labor day holiday is here, and COVID-19 is still among us so please follow safety practices, limit you traveling outside of your home, keep gathering numbers low and it is summer so hydrate up with water.

Holiday weekend travel on the highways will increase, be patient, courteous and slow down coming through our homeland areas.

STAY HOME, STAY SAFE
