“As of 9:05 am on 12/1/2020 – Warm Springs Health and Wellness Center has sent in or tested 5222 Total Tests, 4744 Total Negative, 1 Test Pending, 450 Total Positive Cases, 26 Total Invalid, 54 Hospitalized, 50 Discharged, 10 Deaths, 65 positive test from other facilities, 515 total. There are currently 46 persons with active COVID-19 receiving daily monitoring by Tribal and IHS staff and 62 close contacts receiving daily monitoring by IHS staff. Monday – 11/30 a total of 109 tested, 15 new positive, 15 total positives for the week. 48 Rapid, 10 positives; 60 BinaxNow, 2 positives; 1 State, 0 positive returned from State; 3 positives reported by Other Healthcare Facility; 4 Current Hospitalization, 0 on ventilator.” Hyllis D. The Indian Health Service Health and Wellness Center working with Warm Springs Tribal Health department keep track of data when testing done on reservation. Recently the State of Oregon changed risk level of Jefferson county….”Effective December 3 through December 17, 25 counties will be in the Extreme Risk level, including Deschutes, Crook and Jefferson counties.” The Warm Springs Tribal Council, has already taken action, following recommendation from the Warm Springs Covid Response Team have reduced workforce in the Tribal organization to 50 percent. Further monitoring is occurring with recommendations “…contingent upon…..” increase or decrease of Covid on the Warm Springs Reservation.
